Mount Ashland Ski Area is nestled in the magnificent Siskiyou Mountains.
This Southern Oregon Skiing and Snowboarding Resort is conveniently
located close to Ashland Oregon. Mount Ashland has an annual snowfall

Oregon
Caves National Monument is ... rich in diversity. Above
ground, the monument encompasses a remnant old-growth coniferous
forest. It harbors a fantastic array of plants, and a Douglas-fir
tree with the widest known girth in Oregon. Three hiking trails
access this forest. Below ground is an active marble cave created
by natural forces over hundreds of thousands of years in one
of the world's most diverse geologic realms. Caves of this type
are a unique example of the wonders of nature and shouldn't

Jacksonville
is just a few minutes drive from Ashland. This Southern
Oregon town sprang up during the gold fever of 1851 and today
there are over 80 historic buildings from the gold rush days,
many of which have been preserved or restored to their original
state. In 1966, the entire town of Jacksonville was designated
a National Historic Landmark by the U.S. Department of the Interior.
It showcases it's history well and makes for some great shopping.

Located
in Southern Oregon, Crater Lake is a place of beauty and mystery.
It is widely known for its intense blue color and spectacular
views. Visitors may navigate the Rim Drive around the lake,
enjoy boat tours on the lake surface, stay in the historic Crater
Lake Lodge, camp at Mazama Village, or hike some of the park's
various trails including Mt. Scott at 8,929 ft. The winter brings
some of the heaviest snowfall in the country, averaging 533
inches per year. Although park facilities mostly close for this
snowy season, visitors may view the lake during fair weather,
enjoy cross-country skiing, and participate in weekend snowshoe
